Basicaly the total cost for running GLR for a year are between 1000 and 3500 euro, depending on the amount of bandwidth we use and parties or flyering etc. Until now it was always me (Tim) or Takkie who payed these bills ... and we never regreted it ... we love music .. this is why we started this whole thing ;)  But like yours, our wallets are not filling themselves. So ... what does this mean for GLR and it's future ?

To sum it up for the DJ's and Artists:

• DJ's and Artists who want to broadcast have to contribute; either financialy (even donations of 5 euro are welcome) or in some other way ... write news-articles .. do promotion .. or whatever.
• Greenlineradio has been ad-free for 5 years ... we never earned a single dime running this site .. so ... unless things change and people contribute we are considering adding ads on the website and having commercials in the stream ... we rather do not .. it will be a last resort.

For our listeners:

People who contribute and have an account will get access to:

• Downloads .. (unreleased tracks and promo's given to GLR by their copyright owners ... thanks to people like El Toro, Rokkaz etc)
• For people who donate 5 euro or more: Full Access to the Greenlineradio Archive .. max. 1 GB on demand streaming (about 100 hours) per month, so you can listen to your favorite broadcasts whenever you want.
