Biography:

Marcel S.' full name is Marcel Sprenger. He was born the 23rd of January in 1974 in a place called Katwijk in the Netherlands. The first day when house music was heard on the radio he lost his heart to this style of music and that love never went away. He experienced the house scene closely and got interested in the role of the DJ, the chemistry with the audience and the magic of the DJ booth. A dream was born. Marcel made a deal with one of the residents dj's of the club Lexion, Stephen J. Kroos. If Marcel would buy 2 turntables and a mixer, Stephen would give him his first records. And so it happened.

After a few months his first gig was at a birthday party from a member of his family and a dance reporter who was at the party asked where he normally spins. At that time he knew he could spin and the ball started to roll...
He played at some nice parties like Crazyland at Hemkade, FantasyBeach at Rotterdam, 2 3 oktober festival at Leiden, Hifi Bar at Leiden, Waakzaamheid at Koog a/d Zaan and he reached the finales of the Q-factor from Q-dance. He also played a few times on air at radio Holland Centraal and many times on an internet radiostation cold GreenlineRadio. His style can't be described by 1 name, it's a mix of house/groove/electro and uplifting club, but with a pumpin fresh and funky beat. His artist name is DJ Marcel S. (pronounced as DJ Marcelles) and it is rising. So keep an eye on him in the future..
