Biography:

My name is Laurens Zenfouh and I was born in Utrecht 09-12-1986.

The inspiration for music has already started when I was 6 years old!

I began to listen to some tapes of popartists.

In 1996 I started to like Hardcore and Gabberhouse!

Sooo I got in touch with the House-virus...

2 Years later I made a switch and started to look for more attractive Housemusic like Club / Trance and listened to some live-radio parties on saturdaynights when I was 12 years old.

On my 14th birthday I got my own mixer and I bought some turntables...

DJ Rensz was born!

So I ran to the recordstore to get my first vinyls!

Then I came in contact with some partypeeps and producers of the scene in Utrecht and learned some technics and turntable handling tricks!

After a bit of practicing I started to make my first mixtapes.

But I was always looking for some more, so I decided to make my own Mini-club / studio in the "shed" where I still give some exclusive parties!

From that moment on I never lost my feeling for HOUSE!

In the following years Rensz played at: Schoolparties, Birthdayparties, Little gigs and clubs like: ACU, Dancing bar Lekker belangrijk and Club Latido Amsterdam.
